Jocko Valley Farmers' Market

Rain or shine it is Market Day and we will have Emmanuel Produce back with us tonight along with our many other vendors.  The CDC will be serving up a delicious dinner of Sloppy Joe's with Potato Salad or Coleslaw.  Shenangins will be entertaining us as well.  Hope you are able to come out and enjoy from 4-7pm.  If you are able to help out with serving dinner just show up around 3:30.  For more information or to be a vendor, contact Kelley at 726-5550.

Jocko Valley Farmers' Market

Are you looking for some morel mushrooms?  If so, come to the Jocko Valley Farmers' Market on Wednesday, June 12th.  Frank Wright will be selling them there.  The market is from 4-7pm in the parking lot of the Hangin Art Gallery on Hwy 93 in Downtown Arlee.  For more information or to be a vendor call Kelley at 726-5550.

Missing Dog


This is Callie.  She is a Corgie belonging to Melina Whited and has been missing from the Gray Wolf/Agency Rds. area since Sunday, May 26th.  She is spayed and was wearing a light pink collar.  She has not been micro chipped.  If you have seen her or know where she is please call Melina at 239-7148.  Her family really misses her.

Jocko Valley Farmers' Market

Rain or shine it is almost time for the Jocko Valley Farmers' Market which will begin Wednesday, June 5th from 4-7pm.  The Gravely Mountain Boys will entertain us with their great Bluegrass sound and the Arlee CDC will serve an excellent dinner as a fundraiser.  We are sure to have some of our favorite vendors return to serve up produce, baked goods and wonderful handmade arts and crafts.  I hope to see you all there.  If you would like to be a vendor or want more information, call Kelley at 726-5550.  The Market will be held in the parking lot of the Hangin Art Gallery on Hwy 93 in Arlee.

Dear Arlee Celebration Supporters and Sponsors,

July is nearly here and we are writing to tell you about a great opportunity for you to help us host this years 115th Annual Arlee Celebration. This years celebration is set for July 3rd to July 7th, 2013. Our event attracts thousands of spectators and upward of 375 contestants every year. Dancers, Singers, and Vendors who attend are always very pleased with the organization of our event and return years after, to enjoy the sport and celebration of the local tribal people, of the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes.

Creating a community service/volunteer list

The Arlee CDC will be putting together a community service/volunteer list that groups, such as the National Honor Society, can look at to see where they can help in their community.  If your organization or group would like to be included in this list please email or call the CDC office by May 15th.  Please include a short sentence or two about your organization or group as well as the volunteer opportunities and contact information.

10 Sticks Lacrosse Club Donations

10 Sticks Lacrosse Club is a  non-profit organization that aims to build a social culture and a community centered upon Lacrosse on the Flathead Indian Reservation in Montana.  The 10 Sticks High School Boy's Lacrosse team is in need of donations either in terms of equipment and uniforms or monetary.   If you would like to donate uniforms, they can be purchased at Total Screen.  They are currently in need of shorts to match their jerseys.  If you would like to donate equipment, you can purchase it at the Maulers Store in Southgate Mall.  You can contact Aileen Plant at

The mission of The Salish Institute is to improve the health, culture, education and environment of the Salish and Pend d’Oreille people. The Institute will leverage human and capital resources to initiate, coordinate, and support activities and programs that promote cultural identity and strengthen tribal communities.

Arlee Community Development Corporation Quarterly Board Meeting
