'What's Buddhism Anyway?'
On Wednesday, August 4 at 7pm, the Ewam Buddhist Center will host "What's Buddhism Anyway?", a community talk and discussion at 'The Brown Building' here in Arlee. For those who do not know where it is, it is located across from the Post Office on Hwy 93.
Lama Tsomo, American Buddhist teacher and member of Ewam Montana will give a short talk and lead the evening's discussion. Lama Tsomo says, "Even though we've been here a while, I think some aren't quite sure what Buddhism is all about. We hope this evening will create some better understanding about Buddhists' peaceful way of life."
Other members of the Ewam community will be in attendance and light refreshments will be served. This evening is intended solely as an introduction to Buddhist ideas and its way of life. Ewam is planning to host a community gathering later in the summer to discuss the progress of the Garden of 1000 Buddhas and the anticipated visit of the Dalai Lama.
