6th Annual Chocolate Lovers Festival

Just in time for Valentines Day!

The Arlee Community Development Corporation (CDC) announces their 6th Annual Chocolate Lovers Festival, to be held on Thursday, February 11th at the beautiful HEARTVIEW CENTER on Jocko Road in Arlee.  This annual event benefits the youth programs of the Arlee CDC and the Jocko Valley Library.

The committee is currently accepting pre-registration of entries for the event.  Those who have questions or wish to pre-register can contact Kelley at the CDC office at 726-5550 or arleecdc@arleemontana.org .  Entries at the door are also welcome and must be delivered to HeartView Center between 1-6 PM on the day of the event. 

Each entry must include two identical items-one for tasting, one to be auctioned.  Please cut up the one for tasting into bite size pieces before delivering!  There are 10 categories for entries-everything from candies, chocolate substitutes (i.e. Carob), cakes, pies and anything else you make – creativity is encouraged.  There is also a category for low sugar or sugar substitute.

At 6:30 the public is invited to taste and vote on their favorite entries for just $2 per person or $5 per family.  At 7:30 the auction begins, with lots of fun and lively bidding on the best the Jocko Valley has to offer in fine chocolate treats!  There will be games and activities for kids of all ages!

The evening ends with awarding of prizes.   Remember, all proceeds from this exciting event benefit the youth programs of the Arlee CDC and the Jocko Valley Library.   Please come support these valuable services in our community!
