Did you know that Arlee has a food pantry? It is located in the Lutheran Church and is open on Saturdays, except the first Saturday of each month, from 10 am to Noon. It is run solely by volunteers and receives no government funding. All food, meat and money are donated by the people of this great community. The Churches collect food, school classes will collect food and small donations are given by Blackfoot and Lutheran Thrivent, but it is often not enough, especially at this time of year.
If you would like to donate food to the Jocko Valley Food Pantry you can bring it by the Jocko Valley Lutheran Church, located on Hwy 93 across from Shiny Suds Car Wash in Arlee, on Saturdays, except the first Saturday of each month, between 10am and Noon. Or, you can make a monetary donation to the Jocko Valley Food Pantry and mail it to Jocko Valley Lutheran Church, PO Box 257, Arlee, MT 59821. You can also drop off your monetary donation to the Arlee CDC office located in Valley Bank of Arlee.
We are always looking for volunteers to staff the Food Pantry on Saturdays. If you would like to volunteer or would like more information, contact Kelley at the Arlee CDC office at 726-5550. Generally, volunteers work at the Food Pantry two to three Saturdays a year.
Thank You!
