JOCKO VALLEY LIBRARY OF ARLEE Summer Reading Program is winding up. The week of August 18th will be the last week of the program. Participants need to turn in their reading logs no later than Friday, August 22 at 1:00pm. Awards will be given away on Saturday August 23 at noon on the lawn of the library.

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, worked and sponsored our Summer Reading Program this year.

I would like to thank Sally Cordier and Rhea Paul for their volunteer help so Damon Cordier and Bryce Norling could complete a very successful Summer Youth Employment program working for the library. The boys did a wonderful job and thank you moms for supporting them. Thank you Damon and Bryce for once again giving your best to the library. We accomplished a lot and you have much to be proud of. GOOD WORK!!! Thank you to my board trustees and volunteers for helping with the Summer Reading Program in numerous capacities. Thank you to our wonderful sponsors who gave freely various awards and treats for our programs: Wilson's Foods; Heart View Center; The Hummingbird; Rick's Kustom Kut; Reel Time Video; Hangin' Art Gallery & Coffee House. Good luck to the Summer Reading Program participants and congratulations to the winners. As far as the library is concerned you are all winners because reading is very rewarding and you all did a great job!
